There are many types of lures for salmon, steelhead and walleye. Crankbait, spoons, flies, wool, and the list goes on. It is the fisherman's preference as to what he thinks works best, or what the next guy is using to catch all those whoppers.

The main things is, "catch a fish", don't you think? So, whatever works best for you, go for it. What do you use? My wife thinks the crankbait would win over spoons and flies. Whadya think?
